Returns Analysis

Claude for Financial Services — Private Equity

Returns Analysis

Provide the entry valuation, leverage, operating assumptions, hold period and exit case. Get back IRR and MOIC, the value-creation bridge, and sensitivity grids — every figure computed from your own inputs with the arithmetic on the table. Nothing invented, IFRS-first, local currency. Trilingual.

What the Agent Produces

Eight structured sections mirroring a back-of-the-envelope IC returns exhibit — from restated inputs to the notes a committee needs before trusting the numbers.

Deal Inputs & Assumptions Your entry, financing, operating and exit assumptions restated — gaps marked [To be provided].
Base Case Returns Entry EV, equity invested, exit EBITDA, exit EV, exit equity, MOIC and IRR — with formulas.
Value-Creation Bridge EBITDA growth, multiple expansion or contraction, deleveraging and fee drag — reconciled entry to exit.
Exit Multiple × Hold Period Two-way sensitivity grid around your own exit case — IRR / MOIC in every cell, recomputed, never estimated.
Entry × Exit Multiple How much of the return depends on paying less at entry versus getting paid more at exit.
Scenario Analysis Bull / Base / Bear from the assumptions you supply — or base case only, with the others flagged.
Assumptions & Data Gaps Every assumption the arithmetic relied on and every metric that could not be computed, listed explicitly.
Notes for the IC Gross vs. net, rollover, recaps, tax and what still needs spreadsheet verification.

Returns Analysis

Enter the entry valuation, financing, operating assumptions and exit case for a growth equity or buyout deal. The agent computes IRR and MOIC, builds the entry-to-exit value-creation bridge, and produces sensitivity grids — all from your own assumptions, with the arithmetic shown.

Every figure is arithmetic on the assumptions you provide — not a forecast, not investment advice. Missing inputs are marked [To be provided] and dependent outputs are flagged as not computable. Draft for qualified professional review; verify in a spreadsheet before use in an IC deck. Do not enter material non-public information.

How It Works

Returns Analysis is ibizai's implementation of the Anthropic Claude for Financial Services private equity returns agent, adapted for growth equity and buyout transactions in Latin American and Iberian markets. IFRS-first, in the local currency you enter. Output in English, Spanish, and French.

You bring your own data: entry EBITDA and multiple, leverage and paydown, growth and margin path, hold period and exit multiple. The agent uses Gemini 2.5 Flash at temperature 0.2 to compute exit EBITDA, exit equity, MOIC and IRR, decompose the return into EBITDA growth, multiple change and deleveraging, and rebuild the sensitivity grids cell by cell. It never fills a missing input with a "typical" number — anything absent is marked [To be provided] and the affected outputs are flagged as not computable.

Important: All output is a draft for qualified professional review. Returns are arithmetic on your own assumptions — not forecasts and not investment advice — and are gross of fund fees and carry unless stated. Verify every figure in a spreadsheet before it reaches an IC deck. Do not use this tool with material non-public information. Nothing produced here constitutes investment, legal, tax, or compliance advice.
